About the Program
The PhD Program in Management Science and Engineering (for International Students) is a four-year full-time and English-taught program. It comprises a solid program of coursework, comprehensive exam, and dissertation research for the completion of the degree.

Degree Timeline
YEAR 1: Coursework
YEAR 2: Comprehensive Exam (3rd semester) and proposal defense (3rd semester)
YEAR 3: Dissertation research and progress report (5th semester)
YEAR 4: Dissertation research, dissertation pre-defense (7th semester), and dissertation final defense
Program Completion Requirements
• Complete a minimum of 26 credit hours of coursework and research
• Pass the comprehensive exam
• Pass all the examinations of dissertation research
• Complete a research project independently and publish in high-quality journals
